Hello,
I am Dr.Madhumita Das Mazumdar, MD (O&G) and I am a Senior Consultant Gynecologist of Guwahati, Assam, India.
I worked as a Senior Gynecologist at the Marwari Maternity Hospital, an 80-bedded charitable private hospital at Guwahati in north east India for more than twelve years immediately after obtaining my MD (O&G) Degree.
I am now a Senior Consultant Gynecologist at the SM Polyclinic, as well as the Aries Online and O&G Clinic at Guwahati .I now have more than two decades of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
I started this website and www.gynaeonline.com along with Dr. Kishore Kumar Das, in 2009 when we noticed the lack of information on medical help for the layman on the internet. We also wanted a way to offer women to get a second opinion on their ultrasound and mammography reports anonymously from the comfort of their home.
Our Radiologist
Dr. Kishore Kumar Das, MBBS. DLO, MD(Radiology) has been a practicing radiologist since 1993. He graduated from Guwahati Medical College in 1983 and joined Dr.B.Boroooah Cancer Hospital (BBCI), Guwahati, as a resident doctor in the same year. He received his Diploma In ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) in 1987. He then earned his M.D. in Diagostic Radiology in 1993 from the Guwahati Medical College and has been working in the BBCI as a Consultant in Radiology since then.
In 1995, he received special training in Mammography and Advanced Imaging from the Tata Cancer Hospital, Mumbai.In 2000, he established his own radiology Clinic at Beltola, Guwahati and has been been an active private practitioner with a special interest in mammography and breast ultrasonograhy.
He is a keen academician and has presented a number of papers in various radiological conferences.He is a member of the Indian radiological Association (IRA) as well as the Assam Radiological Society.
He started this website www.breastcancertreatment.in with Dr. M.D.Mazumdar in 2009 when he noticed the lack of information on breast cancer on the internet. he also wanted a way to offer women to get a second opinion on their ultrasound and mammography reports anonymously from the comfort of their home.
