I Broke out in an unidentifiable itchy rash on my face, fingers, chest and neck. The rash disappears and pops up in different spots.

The rash is itchy and painful yes. Swollen only on my finger because I had my ring on it my husband got it all now it’s red and itchy
I used Bethamethasone 1% cream. The rash cleared for a few days and then came back. Still itchy.
I also used Cera vue eczema relief but it burns on my skin.

The Itchy rash been here for a month gets better on one side of my face breaks out on another
Then moves to my chest
Neck and spread between both of my fingers
Burns when I put lotions on it
Feeling like it’s bacterial or viral
I’ve taken steroid and stopped and now I’m on antibiotics but the rash is constantly itching still.

This is a fungal rash.
Steroids alone will not help.
Please apply Lotrimin AF lotion and 1% Hydrocortisone ointment mixed in a ratio of 1:1 twice daily for 7 days.
Both are available without a prescription
Also take Benadryl twice daily
You should see the rash clearing up in about 5-7 days.
Should I still be taking the steroid then
Or antibiotics that I’m already on?

And what antibiotic?

Hold on getting it.
It is Doxycyline. Just took one dose so far.
The steroid is 1% Hydrocortisone.
Should I take the steroid and the antibiotic? Or finish the antibiotics first? And then get back on the steroid.
Will they be effective against a itchy rash caused by fungal infection?

Please stop the antibiotic and the steroid.
Just use the Lotrimin AF and the hydrocortisone cream as described.

Fungal rash – how would I have contracted this – is it like bacterial infections? I don’t remember touching anything dirty.

Fungus spores are present in the air. It can enter the skin through a break in your skin or an injury. A low immunity can increase risks of a fungal infection and rash.
Causing a itchy rash is one of its diagnostic features.

Yes, please apply to your cracked lips too.
Also, keep the lips well moisturized with coconut oil or use Vaseline as often as possible.
